If your pet has ingested a toxic substance, we may ask you to call the pet poison helpline. They have the necessary tools to gather information and run calculations that will determine if your pet can be monitored from home or should be seen by your veterinarian. If treatment is needed, they work with your veterinarian to develop a treatment plan that is specific to your pet.

Please note that there is a cost to call the pet poison helpline.
