Dr. Kurtz joined Southview Animal Hospital in 2023 after graduating from the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine. She also received her bachelor's degree in animal science from Iowa State University. Dr. Kurtz started shadowing a veterinarian as a young girl, which is where her passion for veterinary medicine began. Since beginning her career, Dr. Kurtz’s favorite part of every day is getting to connect with clients and working with them to bring the best care for their pets. Outside of work, Dr. Kurtz enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, and spending any time outdoors, reading, and enjoying sports.
