Dr. Steffes joined Southview Animal Hospital in March 2013.  After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2003, she completed her veterinary training at the University of Pennsylvania in 2007. She joined a small animal practice outside of Chicago for 5 years then made the move north with her family in 2012. Her professional interests include endocrinology, dentistry, laser surgery, and geriatric care. Dr. Steffes has enjoyed working with the staff and clients at Southview Animal Hospital and is looking forward to continuing to foster these relationships. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Steffes enjoys spending time with her husband, two energetic children, and a goofy Boxer named Petey. She enjoys staying active outside, practicing yoga, reading, and spending time at the lake.
