Sami joined Southview in April 2024. She has always had a strong interest in the medical aspects of things, and a love for animals, so she knew she wanted to do something that included both! Sami has been working in vet med since she was 18, straight out of high school, starting as a kennel assistant and working my way up gaining experience and knowledge to become a vet tech! Some of her favorite things and interests at Southview is seeing interesting cases and being able to learn new things due to the amount of variety we get! Outside of work, Sami enjoys hiking, and riding my horse, Chili, a 4-year-old quarter horse. I also have a 2-year-old Australian shepherd named Shasta, and a year-old polydactyl kitty named toothless!
