Mackenzie joined Southview Animal Hospital as a certified veterinary technologist in July of 2024. She received her bachelor's degree in veterinary technology from North Dakota State University in 2017. While she is originally from the twin cities area (go Osseo Orioles!), she lived in Fargo from 2014 to 2022. Before starting Southview Animal Hospital, she worked at an urgent care veterinary hospital in Bloomington, MN. Mackenzie is excited to be a part of such a large team, and to meet new patients and clients. Mackenzie has two dogs but also lives with three cats and two best friends who double as her roommates! Besides veterinary medicine her passions include reading a LOT of fiction and spending time with family and friends. Her most memorable veterinary medicine moment thus far is having intubated a red panda for a dental cleaning!
